Philanthropy has been the heart of the Sanghvi family's life in Pune and in their native state of Rajasthan. The modest beginning and strong vision of Late Shri Surajmal K Sanghvi, has started with PTC i.e. Patent Tiffin Carrier. With a rolling mill plant to roll copper, brass and aluminium sheets, a new dream rolled out in the history of the Sanghvi family. Since then the descendents have only added to this dream and are still adding.
The family business turned to become a company that started generating and employment for 500 workers to 1500 workers, with branches all over India, and become the leading aluminium suppliers in the country with an annual sales of approximately 4000 tons. A small glitch in the state governance led to downsizing of this factory, but the next generation, Mr. Kantilal Sanghvi along with his young son Mr. Sandeep Sanghvi once again set the empire in the eighties to form Orbit WinDoor Pvt. Ltd. with the aim of supplying premium achitectural material such as aluminium windows and doors, Orbit concentrated on marketing Architectural Qualicoat grade powders from H B Fuller, USA.
Installed a state-of-the-art modern plant on 1,80,000 sq.ft. of land, with 5,000 sq.ft. built-up area and an annual capacity of over 700 tonnes at Alandi, Pune..
